Don’t Miss these Attractions at Art In The Park

Art Displays – Over 100 artists will exhibit at this Diamond Jubilee Art in The Park. Coming from across the United States, the exhibitors will present the best in fine arts and crafts: photography, painting and drawing, sculpture, textures, and so very much more. There is even a section specifically for kids called the “Young Collector’s Tent” which features items that will appeal to the youthful purchaser.

Veterans’ Section – This year 20 spots have been allocated to art created by former military personnel. Feeling that these individuals bring a unique perspective and message, cash prizes will be awarded by a peered jury, plus a People’s Choice award decided by popular vote. While the pieces are not available for sale at this fair, the artists’ information will be provided next to each display.

Emerging Artists – To encourage creativity in high school and early years of college, Art in The Park will designate a specific pavilion to these young artists. Commerce Bank, a sponsor for the entire event, will select three pieces for display in their facility following the close of the festival.

Non-Art Exhibitors – A select group of booths will be scattered in the family and children’s section of the festival. These special providers feature as caricaturists, face painters, etc.

Food and Entertainment – There is excitement around every bend with pop-up performers. The final list of food vendors is still in process, but it promises a diversity of local eateries, including healthy options.
